Pre-Registration is a must. similarly to regular thunderdrift days, there will be a non-refundable 40% pre-reg fee for each event. This means for each skid-pad day the pre-reg price will be $40 ($41.60 paypal), Open Drift will be $80 (or $83.10 paypal), Comp will be $50 (or $51.90 paypal), and if you want to do open-drift on friday and compete on saturday the pre-reg will be $130 (or 134.07 paypal).

I recently bump in to this article in regards to the Altamont Saga.

It’s the same ol’ story about how disheartening Altamont have been to them and drifters making threats, Helicopter flying above their homes etc…

I thought this whole thing was over already. After I was done with the court banning drifting events at AMP, I stop trying. It’s not worth a headache to us.

Just a bunch of exaggerating story. I wonder if he feels like a fool (Mark Rivard) for trying too hard about all this issue. I wouldn’t be surprise if they paid East Bay News some money to publish this article, its pretty long. If anyone that’s looking for a book report, check this story out.

DRIFTxBATTLE and Speed Ventures is working together on putting a drift session at their Horse Thief Mile events. HTM usually gets low attendance of grip drivers so we should get plenty of track times. Ill see you guys out there! Hit us up on myspace and let us know if you are attending.

Speed Ventures is offering a Drift Practice run group at Horsethief Mile
this weekend, October 13 & 14 and again at Horsethief Mile on November 3 &
4.

For both the October and November events, the cost is $130/day for 1 day and
$115/day for 2 days.  Lunch and Bottled Water is included.  In addition to
the 5 x 25 minute long run sessions scheduled, drivers will be allowed to
run additional sessions, space allowing, provided certain common sense rules
are followed.

Grip driving sessions are also scheduled and AMB transponder rentals for
full lap timing are available.
